Swiss Orienteering Week (SOW) 2026 - Portes du Soleil

The event will take place in both Morgins and Châtel (Monday, July 13, in Plaine Dranse, and Saturday, July 18, in Super Châtel), straddling the border between Switzerland and France. For a week, thousands of runners from all over Europe and beyond will experience a unique cross-border adventure. Just as the Portes du Soleil ski area knows no borders, neither will the orienteers! This aspect will be the hallmark of the event, which is one of the world’s largest orienteering competitions. The races will take place in spectacular Alpine landscapes: forests, alpine meadows, and panoramic views of the peaks. Even without racing, the setting alone is worth the trip.
