Montriond – Les Lindarets

Montriond is an ideal holiday destination. With its lake, waterfalls and hiking trails, Montriond lake offers easy walks and water sports activities in a peaceful setting. A little higher up, the village of Lindarets is a must for families who come here to discover a real hamlet with its wooden chalets and mountain pastures. An abundance of goats has given this hamlet its name, the “village of goats”. Like the holidaymakers, they have come here to spend a summer strolling around. Children will be delighted to feed the free-roaming, hungry and curious goats. An ideal gastronomic stop-off point, it is also the starting point for a number of hikes.

From Les Lindarets, mountain bikers can hop on their bikes to follow the various trails and take the chairlifts to the Portes du Soleil resorts. For walkers, there are numerous footpaths criss-crossing the mountain and leading to sumptuous viewpoints such as the Brochaux waterfall and the Pointe des Mossettes.
