A Pass’Portes

Very Hot🌡️🔥

This weekend, Pass’Portes is switching to sauna mode! Even at an altitude of 2,000 metres, the temperature is set to soar. Make sure you’ve got your SPF 50 sun cream ready, and don’t forget: that post-race beer doesn’t count as water for rehydration (unfortunately)!

Remember to:

Stay hydrated regularly, even before you feel thirsty! You’ll be able to top up your water at all the refreshment stations.
Protect yourself from the sun: sun cream, sunglasses…
Adjust your pace and take breaks if necessary.
FOLLOW THE ORGANISERS’ INSTRUCTIONS: shorten your route if necessary; the ski lift staff will be able to guide you
Be alert to signs of heat-related illness: headaches, nausea, dizziness, unusual tiredness…
Be mindful of other participants and alert the emergency services to anyone in difficulty.

IMPORTANT
No rider packs will be issued the day before (except for the Pass’Portes Gravel). Participant packs can be collected from 6.30 am at your starting resort on the morning of the ride, upon presentation of your registration confirmation or ID card. Pack collection closes at 10.00. The ski lifts on the route open from 7.00. Set off at your own convenience between 7.00 and 10.00 from your starting resort. The ski lifts close at 17.45.
