Description
The Tromby Loop takes you up to the higher elevations of the resort, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding peaks, including Mont de Grange and the Dents du Midi.
Take the La Panthiaz gondola (tickets and rates available at the ski lift ticket offices), which you can reach from the village via the free municipal shuttle: be sure to plan your return trip before the gondola closes.
When you exit the gondola, take the forest trail to the left.
The start of the trail is steep. After passing through forests and clearings, follow the ridgeline to the Sevan chalet behind you.
Head back down to rejoin the trail you took on the way up and return to the starting point.
You can take the gondola back down or take the Route du Rys (allow an extra hour).
