The first part of the workshop takes place indoors, with a theoretical introduction to the world of bees, through games and experiments. The group then moves out onto the monastic estate, first to the gardens to identify a few melliferous plants and see the bees foraging.
The workshop concludes with a visit to the educational hive, which illustrates all the points made above (wax frames, guard bees, ventilator bees, recognition of drone bees...). Immersion is total, thanks to the loan of...
