Description

Budding explorers set off on an adventure in search of plants! On the program: a themed tour and fun activities: an ingredient hunt for cycles 1 and 2, and a linocut workshop for cycle 3.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of plants at Abondance Abbey. With all your senses alert, explore the Abbey's various buildings. Look for, smell and observe plants, and discover how artists, monks and farmers... used plants to build, decorate, treat and feed themselves... Following a thematic tour, a fun activity allows cycles 1 and 2 to search for the utensils and ingredients needed to recreate the recipe for applesauce handed down by the cook. Cycle 3 students can try their hand at linocut printing, inspired by the plants they've spotted during their visit. Out of winter period Reservations required
