Abondance, Tarine, and Montbéliarde are the three breeds of cows that graze our pastures in the Abondance Valley. But who are they? A workshop to learn everything there is to know about cows, from their anatomy to dairy products.
Cows are very numerous in our region and provide us with the precious milk needed to make a wide range of products. But who are they?
During this workshop, children will observe the appearance of this iconic farm animal in detail. They will learn about their diet and then make a list of dairy products produced by cows... and other mammals!
As they make discoveries and take part in fun activities, they will develop a drawing that they will personalize to add a creative touch to this workshop.
The workshop will alternate between group activities (5 groups max), group discussions, and a creative coloring session.
