Fill up on discoveries! The DUO offer gives you access to both of the village's cultural sites. On a self-guided tour, children can discover the rich heritage of the Abondance valley while having fun.
Between art, history and know-how, explore the Abbey and the Maison du Fromage Abondance on self-guided tours. At Abondance Abbey, discover the history of this historic monument, its architecture, its 15th-century murals, its sacred art exhibition and its former orchard (accessible subject to weather conditions). A QR code is at your disposal, with audio guides, descriptions of the works and a fun trail. At the Maison du Fromage Abondance, keep your senses alert and let all the secrets of Abondance cheese reveal themselves to you. A fun trail with various activity modules is available throughout the visit. Duration: 30 to 45 minutes per site Reservations essential.

  • From the shores of Lake Geneva, access via the Gavot plateau, heading towards the Abondance valley (approx. 40 mins).

    The entrance to the site is located at Place de l’Abbatiale, accessible from the village centre via the Passage des Chanoines.

    Separate access to the church (no visits during services).
