Accessible by ski lifts in winter.
Accessible via a footpath: In the Chablais massif, set off from Lac de Montriond to reach the refuge via a path which even some pushchairs can use for the final stretch; you can also cycle up on a mountain bike. The refuge offers state-of-the-art facilities.
Access by 4x4 is permitted for emergency services in summer. In winter, you can reach the refuge on snowshoes, cross-country skis, ski touring equipment or downhill skis.
