18th edition of the Pass'Portes du Soleil MTB on the 24th, 25th and 26th June 2022!

The Rider Pack

What is it?
Essential companion for the Pass'Portes du Soleil MTB, your rider pack gives you access to the circuit.
It will be handed to you on the day of your ride, in the resort you chose, upon presentation of your confirmation of registration or ID. In the rider pack you will find:

  • Your number plate and three plastic clips to fix it onto your bike
  • A "tag-it" which will be your lift pass for the day, essentiel to access the lift.

    Please keep your Pass'Portes lift pass after the event. It entitles you to a Portes du Soleil mountain bike day pass valid for the summer of 2022 from Monday 27/06 after your Pass'Portes participation or to a Portes du Soleil day ski pass for winter 2022-2023
    Exchange this Pass'Portes pass at any Portes du Soleil lift company. It is a numbered personal lift pass. It cannot be transferred, modified or refunded.

  • Your free gift
  • A frame sticker printed with the circuit's elevation profile so you can easily find your position on the track
  • A compulsory wristband for access to the 4 refreshment stations. 


It's always useful to carry a puncture repair kit. Please take a personnal cup as none will be distributed at the food stops.

Pass'Portes KIDS Information

For registrants to the Pass'Portes KIDS in:

  • CHATEL: Please meet your instructor at 8.30 am, in Châtel at "Pré la Joux" parking place, near "Pierre Longue" chairlift on the morning you have booked to ride.
  • MORZINE: Please meet your instructor at the tourist office in Morzine at 8.30 am on the morning you have booked to ride.

  • LES GETS: Please meet your instructor at the tourist office in Les Gets at 8.30 am on the morning you have booked to ride.

    - Pick up your rider pack with your order registration and your ID
    - Start to ride at 9 am till around 4 pm

    Please fill in the form and send the parental authorisation to the organisation for all participant under 18.

IN CASE OF STORM

In each resort, there are some safe locations to seek shelter. Please retreat to them in case of storm.

Châtel:

- Salle châtelaine
- Parking souterrain Châtel Centre
Morzine:
- Parking souterrain, sous la place de l'Office de Tourisme
- Parking couvert du Pléney
Les Gets:
- Salle de la Colombière
Les Lindarets:
- Salle Hors Sac
Montriond:
- Hall des Albertans
Champéry:
- Hall du Téléphérique de Champéry
Roc d'Enfer:
- Hall départ et arrivée télécabine de la grande Terche
- Graydon : tentes ravitaillement
Morgins:
- Salle polyvalente de la Jeur

When do the chairlifts and cable cars open and close?

They will be open from 7.30 a.m. to 5.45 p.m.during the event, on 23, 24 and 25th of June 2023

At what time can we start?

From 7.30a.m to 10 a.m.

Where can I stop for refreshments?

Food stops (6 for the PP and 4 for the ePP), each one offering various local specialties have been planned all along the route, you can access them with your bracelet (compulsory).

  • Champéry : raclette du valais AOP
  • Champoussin les Crosets : Röstis Valaisans
  • Châtel : Diots de nos montagnes
  • Les Gets : BBQ/Pitas
  • Les Lindarets : Tartiflette de nos montagnes
  • Morzine : fondue au chocolat
  • Roc d'Enfer : Paëlla

 

To access the supplies, please bring your personal cup.

In case of accident

What should I do in case of accident?

Your bike will be brought back to the Tourist Office of your starting resort:

  • Morzine -> Office de Tourisme de Morzine
  • Les Gets -> Office de Tourisme des Gets
  • Châtel -> Office de Tourisme de Châtel
  • Morgins -> Office de Tourisme de Morgins
  • Champéry -> Office de Tourisme de Champéry

BE CAREFUL there are some exceptions:

  • Avoriaz et Les Lindarets -> Office de Tourisme de Morzine
  • Les Crosets  -> Office de Tourisme de Champéry
  • Roc d'Enfer -> Office de Tourisme de Morzine

 

 

What is the phone number for general informations during the Pass'Portes?

In case of an emergency, if you get lost or have an emergency other than an accident / injury, call the +33(0)6.49.53.37.28.

Are you insured?

Once you're registered for the Pass'Portes MTB event, you're automatically entitled to personal insurance offered by the organizer. Please be certain to enter the full and correct names of each person that you register. If you already registered someone without giving their full details, please send them to us at : inscription@portesdusoleil.com
