    Pass'Portes An event Eco-responsible

    Because nature is our playground, we aim to preserve it by reducing the ecological footprint of the Pass’Portes du Soleil and raising awareness among participants.

    OUR COMMITMENTS

    ON THE COURSE
    • Traced on trails and paths dedicated to the practice, without borrowing natural portions in order to preserve bio-diversity.
    • Biosourced or reusable signage and rapid post-event clearing in line with the recommendations of the Mountain Bikers Foundation.
    • Reduced waste and individual packaging (compostable for Powerbar cereal bars), use of recyclable crockery and free water bottles to avoid the use of cups.
    TRANSPORTATION
    • Encouraging public transport, with a wide range of shuttle buses
      numerous bus shuttles to make getting around as easy as possible
    • Partnership with Tictactrip to make your journey easier
    AT THE FEED STATIONS
    • Use of tap water rather than packaged water.
    • Recycling PET in a dedicated container, in partnership with Evian.
    • Support for local production, with preferred sourcing from regional French or Swiss producers.
    • Promoting mountain biking and increasing public awareness of this sport in harmony with nature in the heart of the Portes du Soleil area.
