Trail route 55 red - Loop Troistorrents Vallerette

Discover an emblematic summit at the entrance to the Portes du Soleil: the Dent de Valerette. Departing from Troistorrents Village, you'll have the chance to start your outing on a 182-metre-long suspended footbridge. Once across, a long ascent of over 1300 meters awaits you. You'll start in a magnificent forest before emerging onto the high pastures of the Troistorrents commune. You'll need to make a little more effort to reach the Dent de Valerette at over 2000m altitude, from where you can admire the majestic Dents du Midi and Lake Geneva. Once you've enjoyed the view, a technical and challenging path takes you back towards Chenarlier, before you cross the footbridge again to complete your loop in style!
