A pretty loop starting from Morgins or Champoussin, passing over the Portes du Soleil pass and numerous mountain pasture restaurants.
Designed on the side of a mountain on a 4x4 road, its unevenness and its point of views will make your experience go up a notch.
Take the "Grand Jeur" carriage road from the 2nd pylon (just above the gondola departure station), which climbs gently to the Col de Madzé. Then join the Route du Jorat which climbs up to the Gite d'alpage de La Chaux and continue flat in the direction of Les Bochasses as far as the village of Champoussin. Above the Auberge Chez Gaby 1670, the path climbs gently up to Vaillime above Les Crosets. Then begins the steeper ascent to the Col des Portes du Soleil, the highest point (1950m) on your itinerary. Enjoy the view before descending to the Buvette de Tovassière and Morgins.
And if the need arises, several recharging stations are available all along the circuit in order to recharge the batteries of your bikes and enjoy a gourmet break!
