In this section you will find every thing you need to know for the big day!

The 16th edition, the Pass'Portes du Soleil will be held the 28th, 29th and 30th june 2019!

The Rider Pack

What is it?
Indispensable companion for the Pass'Portes du Soleil MTB, your rider pack gives you access to the circuit.
In the rider pack you will find:

  • Your number plate and three plastic clips to fix it onto your bike
  • Your lift card for free lift acces.
    Warning, please keep your Pass'Portes lift Pass after the event! It includes:
    a Portes du Soleil day MTB pass valid for summer 2018 (valid from 2nd July 2018)
    OR
    a Portes du Soleil day ski pass for winter 2018-2019
    Exchange this Pass'Portes pass at any Portes du Soleil lift company. It is a numbered personal lift pass. It cannot be transferred, modified or refunded.
  • Your free gift
  • A compulsory wristband for access to the 8 refreshment stations. 


It's always useful to carry a puncture repair kit, too.

Pass'Portes KIDS Information

For registrants to the Pass'Portes d KIDS in:

  • CHATEL: Please meet your instructor at 8.30 am, in Châtel at "Pré la Joux" parking place, near "Pierre Longue" chairlift on the morning you have booked to ride.
  • MORZINE: Please meet your instructor at the at the Pleney lifts, close to the lift company ticket offices in Morzine at 8.30 am on the morning you have booked to ride.

  • LES GETS: Please meet your instructor in Les Gets at the tourist office at 8.30 am on the morning you have booked to ride.

    Pick up your rider pack with your order registration and your ID
    Start to ride at 9 am till around 4 pm
    Don't forget to bring the parental authorization: Download the form here

    Please fill in the form and send the parental authorisation to the organisation for all participant under 18.

How do I get my rider pack?

Info:

  •  No rider pack will be given the day before
  •  Suggested start time 7.30am-9am from the resort you selected when you registered
  •  Lifts close at 6pm

Starting from:

Avoriaz, Les Gets, Morzine, Châtel, Morgins : Please pick up your rider pack from your start resort tourist office from 7am on the morning you have booked to ride.
Please show your booking confirmation or your ID card. 

Montriond-Les Lindarets : Please pick up your rider pack near the bottom of "Les Lindarets" lift and the refreshment tents, from 7am on the morning you have booked to ride. Please show your booking confirmation or your ID card.

Champéry : Please pick up your rider pack in Champéry centre, on the parking lot at the bottom of Champéry-Planachaux gondola from 7am on the morning you have booked to ride. Please show your booking confirmation or your ID card.

 Les Crosets : Please pick up your rider pack at the lift company in Les Crosets from 7am and maximum till 10.30am on the morning you have booked to ride. Please show your booking confirmation or your ID card.

Torgon : Please pick up your rider pack in Torgon on the "Plan de Croix" close to the lifts, near the refreshment tent from 7am on the morning you have booked to ride. Please show your booking confirmation or your ID card. 

Our bike choice
To be as comfortable as possible , choose the right compromise between downhill and portions of pedaling .
The ideal is a type bike " All Mountain - Enduro " , both full suspension and lightweight.

e Pass'Portes Information

For the e Pass'Portes du Soleil tour, the starting is only from Morzine. You can pick up your rider pack only from Morzine:

Starting from Morzine- new: Please pick up your rider pack at the Pleney lift company, at the bottom of Pleney gondola from 7am on the morning you have booked to ride. Please show your booking confirmation or your ID card (Address: 200 Taille de Mas du Pleney, 74110 Morzine, France).

When do the chairlifts and cable cars open and close?

They will be open from 7.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 3 days.

At what time can we start?

From 7.30a.m to 10 a.m.

Where can I stop for refreshments?

There will be 8 refreshment points around the circuit, which you can get into if you are wearing your trek bracelet. You can taste the local specialities.

Morzine Bike Show

The Bike Show is free and open to every one. When is the Bike Show open?
The 2018 MTB Show will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday 29th, Saturday 30th, Sunday 1st July.

Are you insured?

Once you're registered for the Pass'Portes MTB event, you're automatically entitled to personal insurance offered by the organizer. Please be certain to enter the full and correct names of each person that you register. If you already registered someone without giving their full details, please send them to us at : inscription@portesdusoleil.com

Free of charge bus shuttle to join some starting resort in the morning - No booking in advance. Bus shuttle only from Morzine to Avoriaz ; and from Morzine to Montriond-Les Lindarets

The shuttles are free of charge. They allow you to get back to your start resort in case you break your bike or if you have a small accident.

The time tables may change depending on the traffic and weather conditions.
