20th edition of the Pass'Portes du Soleil MTB on the 28th, 29th and 30th June 2024!

What exactly is a rider pack?

An essential companion. With it, you will have access to the Pass'Portes du Soleil 2024 tours.

In other words, this rider pack consists of :

- Your numbered frame plate and 3 collars to fix it.

- Your pass, essential for access to the ski lifts (Please keep your Pass'Portes pass after the event. It entitles you to a Portes du Soleil mountain bike day pass valid for summer 2024 from 01/07/24, after your Pass'Portes participation or a Portes du Soleil winter 2024-2025 ski day pass.

ATTENTION, this offer does not apply to guest passes/registrations/VIP

To take advantage of this offer, exchange this ski pass at a main lift ticket office. Individual pass numbered, non-transferable, non-changeable, non-refundable).

- The event guide, a veritable grimoire of the Pass'Porteur.

- A coloured wristband for each day, which must be worn to access the refreshment points.

- A sticker to stick on your mountain bike representing the course profile.

- Your 2024 participant gift.

- ONLY for the Gravel: You will receive a 20€ voucher to spend in partner restaurants or accommodations in Châtel.

A little advice from the Pass'Portes team: Remember to take a repair kit, as well as a personal cup for the refreshments in addition to your water bottle.

When do the chairlifts and cable cars open and close?

They will be open from 7.30 a.m. to 5.45 p.m.during the event, on 28, 29 and 30th of June 2024

Feeling a little sluggish? Want to have a snack or something to eat?

several refreshments are provided along the Pass'Portes du Soleil routes. You can find the locations directly on the route.

ATTENTION: Don't forget to bring your cup or container, no container will be distributed for drinks.

How to get the rider pack?

Go to your departure station at 7 a.m. with your ID card and invitation.

 

IMPORTANT

No rider packs will be issued the day before.
Pick-up of rider packs from 7 a.m. at your departure station on the morning of the ride, on presentation of registration confirmation or ID card.Pack pick-up closes at 10 a.m.
Lifts on the route open at 7.30 a.m.
Free departure between 7:30 and 10 a.m. from your departure station.
Lifts close at 5.45pm.

 

At what time can we start?

From 7.30a.m to 10 a.m.

Don't forget...

  • Your helmet and gloves (obligatory)
  • Other protection (advised) - Your backpack and camelback
  • Puncture repair kit
  • Warm clothes
  • Waterproofs
  • First aid kit
  • Passport (you will be crossing French and Swiss borders).
  • Your personnal cup to access the food stops
  • Your personnal mask, to use while gathering people

Meet in Châtel, Chapelle d'Abondance, or at Roc d'Enfer from 7am to collect your participant pack. Departures are allowed between 7:30 and 10 am.

As a reminder, you can pick up your participant pack at the Roc d'Enfer ski lift ticket office (32 route de la télécabine, 74430 Saint-Jean-d'Aulps, France), in Châtel's tourist office (14 route de Thonon, 74390 Châtel) or at Foyer Nordique 4 Saisons (Route des Frasses, Lieu-dit La Panthiaz, 74360 La Chapelle-d'Abondance) depending on your registration.

Your pack will be delivered to you on presentation of your registration confirmation or id card.

Pass'Portes KIDS Information

For registrants to the Pass'Portes KIDS in:

  • CHATEL: Please meet your instructor at 8.30 am, in Châtel's tourist office.
  • MORZINE: Please meet your instructor at the tourist office in Morzine at 8.30 am on the morning you have booked to ride.

  • LES GETS: Please meet your instructor at the tourist office in Les Gets at 8.30 am on the morning you have booked to ride.

    - Pick up your rider pack with your order registration and your ID
    - Start to ride at 9 am till around 4 pm

MTB Show in Châtel

This year's MTB show takes place in Châtel, free admission for all from 09:00 to 19:00 from June 28 to 30, 2024 and until 18:00 on Sunday.
Meet your favorite brands and stroll the aisles to discover the full range of the MTB and Gravel universe.
Numerous events and a test area will also be on hand to delight young and old alike.

What should I do in case of accident?

Your bike will be brought back to the Tourist Office of your starting resort:

  • Morzine -> Office de Tourisme de Morzine
  • Les Gets -> Office de Tourisme des Gets
  • Châtel -> Office de Tourisme de Châtel
  • Morgins -> Office de Tourisme de Morgins
  • Champéry -> Office de Tourisme de Champéry

BE CAREFUL there are some exceptions:

  • Avoriaz et Les Lindarets -> Office de Tourisme de Morzine
  • Les Crosets  -> Office de Tourisme de Champéry
  • Roc d'Enfer -> Office de Tourisme de Morzine

Are you well insured?

Once you're registered for the Pass'Portes MTB event, you're automatically entitled to personal insurance offered by the organizer for the day of your registration. Please be certain to enter the full and correct names of each person that you register. If you already registered someone without giving their full details, please send them to us at : inscription@portesdusoleil.com
