Eye-to-eye with Dents du Midi and flanked by the Dents Blanche mountain ridge, this hike passes by a lovely covered picnic area and proceeds along a ridge which, in addition to providing gorgeous views over the entire Val d’Illiez, always offers a refreshing breeze on a hot day.
Val-d'Illiez - Sur Crête - Frâchette - Les Pétis - Val-d'Illiez
Turn right on the Chemin de la Carrière in front of the school in Val-d'Illiez and go up towards Sur Crête. Walk along the ridge to the Frâchette cover.
After a well-deserved break, take the Chemin de l'Aiguille before the descent to the village takes place via Les Pétis.
