Montriond – Les Lindarets

Montriond is an ideal holiday destination. With its lake, waterfalls and hiking trails, the Lac de Montriond offers easy walks and water sports activities in a soothing setting. A little higher up, the village of Les Lindarets: a must for families who come here to discover a real hamlet with its wooden chalets and mountain pastures. An abundant goat population has led to the hamlet being dubbed the “village of goats”. Like holidaymakers, they’ve come here to spend a summer strolling around. Children will be delighted to feed these free-roaming, hungry and curious goats. An ideal gastronomic stopover, it’s also the starting point for numerous hikes.

Mountain bikers can set off from Les Lindarets on their mountain bikes to follow the various trails and take the chairlifts to the Portes du Soleil ski resorts. For pedestrians, there are numerous footpaths criss-crossing the mountain, leading to sumptuous viewpoints such as the Brochaux waterfall or the Pointe des Mossettes.
