This variant of the fifth stage of the Tour de la Vallée d'Illiez (TVI) includes the iconic Galerie Défago hike, across from the village of Champéry.

Follow the main itinerary to the place named ‘Progrès’, then take a steep path on your right up to the Organic Adventure Park. From here, take the trail that leads to the Galerie Défago, a magnificent path carved into a natural ledge that bisects the sheer limestone cliff facing Champéry. At the end of the Galerie, you will arrive in front of the charming Cantine des Rives restaurant, on a paved alpine road. Walk along the road to the place called ‘Tière’, near the Frassenaye Waterfall. Just past a hydroelectric depot, take the narrow path that heads steeply downhill in the direction of the Vièze River to the place called ‘Draversat’.
