This variant of the first stage of the Tour de la Vallée d'Illiez (TVI) adds a 2 hour detour via La Pointe de Bellevue for an iconic local peak and a breathtaking panoramic view over the entire Rhône Valley.
Follow the Stage 1 itinerary to the place called ‘Cavoues’. From there, take the trail that splits off in the direction of ‘Grand Crau’ and ‘Les Queues’ to the summit of the Point de Bellevue. From this exhilarating vantage point, you’ll continue to Morgins on the path that descends towards the Portes de Culet on the French border, then take the Route de Culet and the Route des Têtes.
