Discover the Val d'Illiez on a harmonious circuit of asphalt and pastures.
The route starts in the village square. Climb less than 1km on tarmac between the old historic mazots, then turn left onto the Route de la Carrière towards Champoussin. You'll follow a picturesque path through forest and pasture. You will cross the route des Crosets twice... When you reach “Sur Crête”, turn left up a steep, bucolic path along a ridge to the couvert de Frâchette picnic area with WC. After the covered area, follow the ridge on a 4x4 path for about 3km, with slight uphill and downhill gradients, until you reach “Crettet-Bornex” (start of asphalt road). Take the 4x4 road on your left for 800m, then descend through the Forêt des Plagnois to the Champoussin road. Follow the road for 300m, then turn right into the forest. This is a slightly technical descent where you cross the Crosets road once again before arriving at Les Grantys. End your run on an asphalt road through the upper Val-d'Illiez village.
