The theme for 2026 is "Abondance imaginaire": a free, surreal or poetic interpretation of the village.

You can paint your interpretation with your artistic vision of Abondance: resort-village, Pays d'art et d'histoire, Abondance cows, Abondance AOP cheese, landscapes, farms, pastoral life, houses, listed church, cloister, village, mountain, Maison du Fromage, new Habundantia village hall, Lac des Plagnes, etc. Exhibition of participating painters' works on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19. Competition entries on display from Sunday lunchtime. Prize-giving ceremony on Sunday afternoon. Saturday afternoon, July 18: free concert by Trio Laurent LOUVEL Fast food on site.
