A little girl a little dented by life wonders about the way people look at her, while Cabosse just wants to laugh, live and love... in her own way. Do we have to fix her to make her happy?
Cabosse was born with a particularity. It happened in her mother's womb. When she came into the world, the work of making her went a little wrong. Nothing too serious, but the grown-ups knew right away that something was wrong and that if they didn't do something, she'd be unhappy for the rest of her life. And so would they. So young Cabosse wrote herself a letter, not to be opened until she was an adult, "not until I'm done making things". In this touching show, Fanny Corbasson drew inspiration from her own life to question normality, what's the right thing to do, and when to say it. When are we different? Is it ugly or monstrous? Is monstrous worse than ugly? Cabosse questions life, and discovers her little inner voice that, despite everything, brings her back to her difference.
