This "Tour des Ecottis" loop trail leads to the picturesque Refuge du Corbeau hut.
Starting near the church in Morgins' village centre, pass behind the Chez Jan hotel. Take the road to the right of the bakery to Sépaz (about 20 minutes). The snowshoe trail begins just below the antenna tower.
Follow the snowshoe signs on your left (on Chemin de Karmazin) marked 'Refuge du Corbeau". Join the Route des Têtes, take the upper road towards the Restaurant du Corbeau. This trail follows the snowshoe signs marked 'Refuge du Corbeau - Les Ecottis', climbing gently to the restaurant Le Corbeau (www.corbeaumorgins.ch) where you'll find spectacular views of the Dents du Midi.
From here, continue towards Les Ecottis until you come to the ski lift. Beware of skiers, you will cross the ski slopes several times! At this point, return to Morgins following the snowshoe signs marked 'Morgins'.
The loop can be done in either direction.

This is not the Grand Tour du Corbeau which circles the Bec du Corbeau mountain, passing through Super Châtel via the Portes de Culet pass. That tour takes 6 hours!
