This short tour winds through a snowy forest and across an icy river for the perfect escapade into winter wilderness just a stone's throw from civilisation.
From the Grand Paradis Shelter, walk 200m along the river on the Route de Barme. When the road curves, follow the snowshoe signs to your left in direction of la Luy. Cross the little bridge, then follow the trail out of the forest and through a clearing, back in the direction of Grand Paradis.
You can add on to your walk by taking trail #9 up to the Restaurant les Rives and back.
